This is the lovely Budget Truck that we rented. We towed our car behind. It was crazy trying to drive that thing in Rexburg. When we started to drive it, the mountain of snow on top fell onto the windshield, so we had to stop and clean it off. We aslo got stuck in the snow right outside our storage unit. The nice people came and pulled us out.
Ben, still smiling althought it was freezing outside, and we kept having to stop and check to see if our car was still attached to the back. When we were really worried and didn't want to stop, we would push the panic button. Worked like a charm! It stayed on pretty well.
This is the Best Western in Logan Utah that we stayed in on the way. Kristy helped us by looking up hotels while we were on the road. The roads weren't too bad, but we stopped just to be safe. If you want a good breakfast, the restaurant next door, Jeremiah's, was great!Alas, we reached California, and this is what our car looked like! We wrote a message on the back of the car, because we didn't know if we were parked in someone elses's spot and we didn't want to be towed! We didn't have paper, so writing on the window worked out just fine.
Our new apartment is awesome and we love it A LOT! We live in Cape May at Harveston. I'll post some pictures later, when I have everything set up nicely.
